    Donkeys and Dog Tags, an Equine-Assisted Program using miniature donkeys, is in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) Tax Deductible Charitable Organization based in Boone, Iowa. Donkeys and Dog Tags provides time away in a country setting for our Active Duty Military, Veterans, and their families to enjoy the therapeutic wonder of donkeys and the outdoors, to relax, restore relationships, and mend hearts.

    Home Base Iowa is a one-of-a-kind program assisting veterans and transitioning service members. Currently, Iowa’s unemployment rate is under four percent, but businesses need skilled workers. This program helps connect these businesses with qualified veterans looking for career opportunities. Countless resources help veterans and their families with education and in transitioning to a new community with focused support and individuals who want to help. Home Base Iowa’s private-public partnership provides a high level of commitment and resources for our veterans, transitioning service members

    Iowa Able helps Iowans with disabilities and the aging achieve and maintain independence through micro lending and financial coaching programs statewide. Iowa Able is a non-profit, regulated lender focused on providing holistic financial services, financial services and the education necessary for building credit and assets while attaining the assistive technology needed to live, work and learn in Iowa communities.

    The Military Rape Crisis Center (MRCC) strives to unite agencies engaged in the elimination of sexual violence in the United States Armed Forces. MRCC provides case management, victim advocacy, support groups, education, research and training.

Operation Engage America (OEA) is on a mission: to offer support, awareness, education and resources to veterans and others living with Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), their families and the communities that support them. Our goal is to have a grassroots event every June (PTSD Awareness month) in as many communities across America as possible.

    ffordable Community Living is a qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization providing low and moderate income families with quality, affordable housing since 1997 and now offers help to veterans and their families through it’s Veterans Assistance Program. This is NOT a government program.
  • Veterans Crisis Line

    The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text. Veterans and their loved ones can call 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1, chat online, or send a text message to 838255 to receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Support for deaf and hard of hearing individuals is available.
